2:120

 

وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَىٰ ۗ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ ۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

 

Sahih International

And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, “Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance.” If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.

ইহুদী ও খ্রীষ্টানরা কখনই আপনার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হবে না, যে পর্যন্ত না আপনি তাদের ধর্মের অনুসরণ করেন। বলে দিন, যে পথ আল্লাহ প্রদর্শন করেন, তাই হল সরল পথ। যদি আপনি তাদের আকাঙ্খাসমূহের অনুসরণ করেন, ঐ জ্ঞান লাভের পর, যা আপনার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তবে কেউ আল্লাহর কবল থেকে আপনার উদ্ধারকারী ও সাহায্যকারী নেই।

Allahumma Salli A’la Muhammad, ALlahumma Barik A’la Muhammad.

Let’s dissect the Ayah first: There are 5 parts of this Ayah:

1. ‘Never would the Kuffar satisfy with you UNTIL you follow their DEEN (millat) (‘Way of Life’/ Life Style)’
2. ‘Say, Allah’s GUIDANCE is the ONLY Guidance.’
3. If you were to follow their desires
4. after what has come to you of knowledge,
5. you would have against Allah no protector or helper.

1. ইহুদী ও খ্রীষ্টানরা কখনই আপনার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হবে না, যে পর্যন্ত না আপনি তাদের জীবন ব্যাবস্থার অনুসরণ করেন।
2. বলে দিন, যে পথ আল্লাহ প্রদর্শন করেন, তাই হল সরল পথ।
3. যদি আপনি তাদের আকাঙ্খাসমূহের অনুসরণ করেন,
4. ঐ জ্ঞান লাভের পর, যা আপনার কাছে পৌঁছেছে,
5. তবে কেউ আল্লাহর কবল থেকে আপনার উদ্ধারকারী ও সাহায্যকারী নেই।

Part 1:
‘Never would the Kuffar satisfy with you UNTIL you follow their DEEN (millat) (‘Way of Life’/ Life Style)’

SubhanAllah, the evidence is as clear as daylight.
The ‘Muslim’ scholars who preach about engaging with democracy, voting, they are really liked and endorsed by the Kuffars because Democracy is Kuffar’s Deen and these scholars are part of that Deen, They following Kuffar’s Deen thus they belong to them.

SubhanAllah, Sadaqa Allahu Al Adeem. Allah is Haqq, and Allah said Haqq.

‘And whoever follows a Deen, other than the Deen of Islam, they are one of them’
So, they belong to the Kuffar’s.

And Allah knows best.
May Allah guide these people who claim they are Muslim but following Kuffar’s Deen thus belong to the Kuffar.

2. ‘Say, Allah’s GUIDANCE is the ONLY Guidance.’

What’s the guidance for?

Guidance is for Ebadah,
Guidance is for the systems of life, how do you live your life, the ‘ways of life’

3. ‘But if you are to follow their ways (Hawa) after this guidance (this way of life).’

Here Allah mentions it as their ‘HAWA’, meaning desire.
Which means, their ways of life are designed from their desires (Hawa), whatever their heart desires, whatever they think is ‘best’, because they left the ways of their creator long back.
So, Allah Subhanahu clearly warned you that if you follow their ways,

4. ‘Then you won’t find anybody to help you against Allah.’

What does this mean?
Following Kuffar’s Deen means you are destroyed, you made Allah angry.

And Allah knows best.
May Allah guide these astray scholars.
May Allah protect us from these astray scholars.
