And whoever calls/ takes any other ILAHA besides Allah for which he has no proof – then his account is only with his RABB. Indeed, the KUFFAR will not succeed.
Quran for Critical Reasoning:
Bismillah Al Hamdulillah
AsSalatu AsSalamu A’ala Rasulillah
Subhanallah!
Critical Reasoning of Quran changes your traditional understanding that we are used to receive from our traditional Ulama. In fact, that’s where we get our basic mindset/ Aqeedah/ understanding of our Deen from.
But now, contemplating on the words of Allah lead us to more depth from that of general understanding, for sure. This Ayah stands as a milestone of this situation.
Allah mentioned the situation of Shirk (And whoever calls/ takes any other ILAHA besides Allah), then, He made a statement (Indeed, the KUFFAR will not succeed) about their act.
In fact, if you look at many other Ayat as to how Ulema derive their understanding, you will find a statement of Allah Jalla Jalla was followed by the fact/ event He was explaining which Ulema has explained as Allah’s statement/ resolution on that event.
If that is the case, we can draw a decision here from this Ayah that the status of the people of Shirk, as Allah stated here is that they are also Kafirun.
And Allah knows best.
DISCLAIMER:
Do we derive any ruling out of it?
Does the general ruling of Kufr apply to these people?
We are not in a situation to get to that stage yet.
As a student of knowledge, you should not derive a ruling out of it, it’s like a note-taking in the process of learning only, as a collection of info for us.
May Allah give us beneficial understanding of the Quran.
May Allah protect us from falling Shirk and Kufr.
Ameen.
