شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ ۖ أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۚ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ

My Comment:

About establishing system (deen) of Allah in our daily life:

O my Muslim brothers and Sisters,

Read the Arabic words Allah, your Rabb, used here, it is the same wording Allah used as He used for commanding salat. But we made salat as a pillar of Islam (as Rasulullah Sallillahu Alaihi WaSallam made it pillar) but how come we abandon Allah’s system from our daily life which is a clear command from Allah, the legislator and by making Salat as a pillar Rasulullah Sallillahi Alaihi WaSallam did not abandon Allah’s system rather he established the system of Allah and made it prevail until we choose to abandon it.

We now establish salat, Al Hamdulillah. Then forget about establishing the system of Allah in state, politics, judicial, economic or education even in our personal life we follow the system of kafir’s. We even greet each other the way kafir’s greet themselves.

Imagine before Islam, sahaba had a greetings among each other but when they came into Islam, they greet each other as the way Rasulullah taught them, that’s how they establish Deen of Allah in every aspect of their daily life. Today we pray salah but we Muslims greet each other in our official environment by the way of Kafir’s, such as greeting with ‘Good morning’ etc. We feel shy or embarrassed to greet each other with plain ‘Salam’ in our official and many other occasional environment and that is happening in the Muslim countries among Muslims and then imagine the situation of Muslims around the lands of Kafirs. La Hawala Wa La Quwata Illa Billah.

May Allah make us Muslims, fully submitting Muslims who follows Allah’s system in every aspect of their life. Ameen.

About the translation of ‘Deen’:

This is a big issue but briefly let me tell you how Muslims has adopted everything from kuffars, they either lost their identity or adjusted with kuffar’s system everywhere possible.

Deen means the entire Islamic system. But you will find it is translated as ‘religion’, why? so that English speaking non Muslims can understand this. The first Quran translated by non Muslims and they needed to understand things from their perspective, which is reasonable, so they translated the word ‘deen’ as ‘religion’. But what religion means to them? Just whatever they do in churches, that’s their religion limited to.  But for Muslim whenever you see this word ‘deen’ is mentioned, it is for indicating the entire system of Islam. But now when Muslims have been also translated the word to ‘religion’ and ordinary people do not even get a least idea from the word that it means the entire Islamic system of life.

What’s the impact?

Clear shirk and abandoning Allah’s system from every aspects of life because they know deed means ‘religion’ and they are doing the religion! They go to masjid, fast in Ramadhan, they go to Hajj! They established the religion! They have no idea they following the system of life of kuffar’s day in and day out and they have the mind-set of kuffars.

I know there are many reasons for Ummah being in this humiliating state today but everybody would agree that abandoning Quran is the main cause and then the ones who try to understand Quran these translations render them no benefit towards understanding Quran.

I hope publications and the translators would correct the translations if not immediately then in next editions: And I propose not to translate the following words:

Allah (It’s humiliating for Allah to translate this as ‘God’, may Allah forgive them)

Rabb (it’s a crime to translate it as ‘lord’, should not be translated at all but given a detail understanding in glossary)

Deen (should be translated as ‘the system of life in for every aspects’)

Muslim (which should be translated as ‘the fully submitting one’
