O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.

হে মুমিণগণ! তোমরা ইহুদী ও খ্রীষ্টানদেরকে বন্ধু হিসাবে গ্রহণ করো না। তারা একে অপরের বন্ধু। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করবে, সে তাদেরই অন্তর্ভুক্ত। আল্লাহ জালেমদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।

Enemy to Allah and His Rasul and to Believers

Therefore, what does “one of them” could mean?

Kafir

Enemy

Not “One of Us”

But ” Brother, it is a very serious issue to tell a Muslim as Kafir, it needs high scholarly judgement to tell a Muslim Kafir, you cannot do that yourself, who are you to do that?”

Alright then, tell me what does “One of them” means? I have to understand something as it is in clear English! (Actually Arabic). Then can I at least say, they are enemy of Muslims? Can I at least say, they do not belong to Muslims because clearly “One of them” could noway mean “One of US”! Therefore, if I cannot say, “they are Kafir”, but at least I can say that they are not Muslim! and they are enemy of Muslim! And so, if I cannot say all those govt. in the so called ‘Islamic’ Countries (not state, it’s haram to say that) as kafir, at least I can say they are not Muslim and I can say they are enemy of Muslim. It’s a simple math!
