An-Nisa’ 4:14

DISOBEYING RULES and LIMITS set by Allah and RASULULLAH is for Fire ETERNALLY!

وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ نَارًا خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَلَهُ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

Sahih International

And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and transgresses His limits – He will put him into the Fire to abide eternally therein, and he will have a humiliating punishment.

যে কেউ আল্লাহ ও রসূলের অবাধ্যতা করে এবং তার সীমা অতিক্রম করে তিনি তাকে আগুনে প্রবেশ করাবেন। সে সেখানে চিরকাল থাকবে। তার জন্যে রয়েছে অপমানজনক শাস্তি।

My Critical Reasoning:

If this disobedience and limits are applicable only to the context of the issues (Dealing with Orphans property, Marriage, Inheritance) that were mentioned in previous Ayat, it could be so but Allah, the Only Legislator, knows if it applies as a general rule too. But the minimum warning is for those specific issues which could take a Muslim into the fire and forever! Inna lillahi wa Inna ilaihi Rajiun. May Allah, the Most Merciful have mercy on us and save us from Jahannam. Ameen.

The second most important issue to note here is that the rules, laws and the orders given by Rasulullah Sallallahu A’laihi Wa Sallam is not just a ‘Sunnah’.
