7:54

Sahih International

Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah , Lord of the worlds.

Universe created in Six periods.
Allah created the nature.

My Comment:

I don’t like the translation of the word ‘Rabb’ as ‘Lord’ which is common in almost all English translations. It seems that is the best choice, however, it gives me an awkward feeling.

It doesn’t even come close to the proper meaning of Rabb.
It means everything that the creator does for me, from creating me as a best creation and then nourishing every single cell of my body, giving me the needs, guiding me, teaching me knowledge, teaching me how to worship himguarding me, showing me the right or wrong, warning me of the bad, rewarding me for the good, and everything else in between.

I think those translations should be corrected and the word ‘Lord’ should be replaced with the original Allah’s word ‘Rabb’ by putting a general note about what ‘Rabb’ means.

And Allah knows best.
May Allah guide us and make us submit to him entirely and enrich us with pure knowledge.
Ameen.
