Quran 7:179. “We created many Men and Jinn for FIRE”. Who are those who Allah CREATED for fire? Those who do NOT USE their INTELLECT.

7:179

Shakir

And certainly We have created for hell many of the jinn and the men; they have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear; they are as cattle, nay, they are in worse errors; these are the heedless ones.

My Critical Reasoning:

Bismillah! Al Hamdulillah!
Wa AsSalatu AsSalamu A’ala Rasulallah!

The ‘Kalb’ (the heart) is mentioned as a tool which is supposed to use to understand, think, contemplate.  That changes our traditional understanding and knowing about ‘brain’ as an only tool for thinking. What science says about this? Does our heart also ‘think’? And science says today, ‘Yes, it does”

There’s a philosophical question around this verse.
Why a creator has created a creation for fire?
The answer is given in the Ayah. You can translate it according to your understanding.

‘I gave you tools for your use, you didn’t use it, it’s not my fault.’,

‘I showed you both ways and I gave you the tools to navigate, you did not use it. You just completely shut your senses and believed blindly your gurus, priests, monks, philosophers, when they told you “It’s just a belief”, and you believed them’.

‘I gave you detail guideline and then I warned you in detail but you didn’t pay heed to my warning’,

‘I gave you signs all over your life, you were just heedless’,

‘You wanted me to send an angel straight to you, you thought yourself that much important, fire is enough for your arrogance.

‘I honoured you by giving you those tools, but you remained hopeless and did not pause.’

‘Look at yourself, what have you got, you were busy in making a lot of money and comfort and luxury and then you engaged in endless entertainment! and WASTING of your time!’

‘I informed you, I gave you sign, my message reached out to you but you let it pass, therefore, do not blame me, blame yourself only’

‘I favoured you, blessed you but you never thought who is that I should be grateful to?’

That’s about the Kafirun.
Then what about the believers, the Muslims?
Let’s see why they have to go to fire as well!

For abandoning the Quran
For doing Bida’a
For engaging in Shirk by obey Ulama against Allah’s command.
For engaging in Kuffr by following Kuffar Deen.
For setting equals with Allah by submitting to the Kuffar’s Law willingly.
As a few examples.

‘I clearly informed you that I made the Quran easy for you to understand, but you didn’t believe me, you believed the Fasiq and Taghut Ulama who said, “You can’t understand the Quran” and you believed them.

‘I clearly informed you do not die except being Muslim. But you didn’t take heed. You followed Kuffar’s Deen of democracy and whatnot.

‘I clearly informed you, do not obey the Kuffar, but you willingly submitted to the Kuffar’s.’

‘I clearly informed you, do not give my rights to somebody else, but you obeyed Kuffar’s law willingly.’

‘I clearly informed you, this is the guideline, if you follow it, you will be brought back to Jannah. But you abandoned it. You kept following whatever Islam your Ulama prescribed you, you never bother to check and reconcile your Islam with the Quran.’

‘Therefore, do not blame me for the fire, blame yourself.’

Wa Allahu A’lam.
May Allah not make us among those who are heedless, who do not think.
May Allah not make us among those who are for fire.
Ameen.
