Narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
Rasulullah Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said:
“Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.”

The capital punishment for homosexuality is similar in previous books such as Torah and Injil (the book of Christians) even though it’s corrupted today – some of its texts say similar to what Islam says
.וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-זָכָר מִשְׁכְּבֵי אִשָּה — תּוֹעֵבָה עָשׂוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם. מוֹת יוּמָתוּ; דְּמֵיהֶם בָּם
Lev. 20:13 “And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed a detestable act: They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
