Rasulullah Sallillahu ALaihi Wa Sallam said:
“I have been sent ahead of the Hour with the sword,
so that Allaah will be worshiped alone,
and my provision has been placed in the shade of my spear,
and humiliation has been decreed for those who go against my command, and whoever imitates a people is one of them.”
Narrated by Ahmad, 4869; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2831.

So, those who claim that ‘Ulema are the inheritors of the prophets’ which they rightfully claim though, but the problem is that these Ulema understand, follow and only take part of the responsibility of Rasulullah Sallillahu A’laihi Wa Sallam
According to this Hadith the PRIME responsibility of the Ulema is
to do Dawah of Tawheed with sword.
If they are not in a position to do that then, they should at least talk about that, teach about that, make people aware about that.
And even if they are not in a position to teach or talk about that they should support those who do that. In the utmost dire situation if they are not in a position to do even any of these, they should at least not stand against those who bear the responsibility being the true inheritor of Rasulullah Sallallahu A’laihi Wa Sallam.
But most of the Ulema today left the responsibility being the ‘inheritor’ of Rasulullah yet they preach this Hadith (‘Ulema are the inheritor of the prophets’) to paralyses the minds of the Muslims to make them the blind followers of theirs.
And this is the Hadith that should be enough for the ‘people of understanding’ to differentiate between the Haqq Ulema from the Baatil ones.
I ask every Muslim,
Since you were forbidden to learn Deen directly from the Quran and the Hadith,
Since you were forbidden to contemplate on the Quran yourself,
Then let me ask you,
Who do you take your Deen from?
Have you ever learned anything of Deen from such kind of Ulema?
Have you ever even met any such Ulema in your life who really is the inheritor of the prophet?
So, who are taking your Deen from?
And Allah knows best.
May Allah give us proper understanding of Deen.
