وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ زَهْرَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ
Shabbir Ahmed
And do turn not your eyes towards the splendor of the worldly life We have caused many to enjoy. Thereby We put them to test. (A chance for them to walk aright or turn away (104:6-7)). The provision of you Lord is better and more lasting. (13:17).

আর তুমি কখনো প্রসারিত করো না তোমার দু’চোখ সে সবের প্রতি, যা আমি তাদের বিভিন্ন শ্রেণীকে দুনিয়ার জীবনের জাঁক-জমকস্বরূপ উপভোগের উপকরণ হিসেবে দিয়েছি। যাতে আমি সে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করে নিতে পারি। আর তোমার রবের প্রদত্ত রিয্ক সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট ও অধিকতর স্থায়ী।
My Comment and Understanding:
Did you notice here, let alone enjoying what kuffar’s enjoy, Allah prohibited even to LOOK at those enjoyment, entertainment and luxury that kuffar’s are indulge in.
Now can you list them?
O Muslim, even Allah prohibited you to look at the luxury houses, cars, yachts, you can list them. Does this prohibition also fall in the category of endless entertainment too? Isn’t that also luxury of them?
31st night fire works, let alone going there, even watching that in television also prohibited by your Rabb.
Billions of dollars are spent for sports and entertainment like world cups, Olympic etc. Aren’t these luxury? And then do you have permission from your Rabb to watch and look at them?
