    4:86 An-Nisa’. Stop and THINK O Muslims, Allah is CONCERNED about such little things like GREETINGS. This is what is called DEEN of Allah and He wants you to FOLLOW that STRICTLY. And you even greet another Muslim with the ‘Kuffar’s greetings!

    4:86 وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيبًا Sahih International And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet [in return] with one better than it or [at least] return it [in a like manner].
