What is Taqwa? Why do you need Taqwa?

Taqwa means FEAR of Allah.

Allah ordered you to have Taqwa 3:102, 5:2, 58:9
Taqwa is what saved a Muslim from materialism and many other tests (3:15)
Taqwa is described as the best of the clothing of a believer (7:26)
The one who has Taqwa is called Muttaqeen.

and Allah loves Muttaqin.
The best person to Allah is the one who has Taqwa 49:13

You need Taqwa to got o Hajj. (2:197)
Allah pour Rahmah to the one who has Taqwa (7:96), 47:36
Allah forgives the sins of those who have Taqwa (At-Talaq 65:5)

How can you achieve Taqwa?

Unless you have the knowledge of Allah you cannot have Taqwa (35:28)
That’s how acquiring knowledge of Deen becomes an obligation.

But there are other acts which are NEAR to TAQWA:

Forgiveness 2:237

Graciousness

Being Just (5:8)

Honoring symbols of Allah (22:32) is a sign of Taqwa
