Which Muslims are SPECIFICALLY mentioned as the FUEL of Jahannam (Hell)? Those who BOAST about their ANCESTRY!

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَافَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، – وَهَذَا حَدِيثُهُ – عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏“‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ أَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمْ عُبِّيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَفَخْرَهَا بِالآبَاءِ

مُؤْمِنٌ تَقِيٌّ وَفَاجِرٌ شَقِيٌّ

أَنْتُمْ بَنُو آدَمَ وَآدَمُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ لَيَدَعَنَّ رِجَالٌ فَخْرَهُمْ بِأَقْوَامٍ

إِنَّمَا هُمْ فَحْمٌ مِنْ فَحْمِ جَهَنَّمَ

أَوْ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْوَنَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْجِعْلاَنِ الَّتِي تَدْفَعُ بِأَنْفِهَا النَّتْنَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

Critical Reasoning:

PART 1: One is only a pious believer or a miserable sinner. 

What’s the reason behind people boasting of his ancestry?

To show/distinguish himself better, greater than others!

But what is the distinguishing factor between people that are mentioned here?

Either one is PIOUS (MUTTAQI, those who FEAR Allah) or he is a SINNER.

What do you understand from this? 

There is nothing in between, as people now treat, identify and differentiate themselves as ‘REGULAR’ Muslims as one category and ‘SHIEKH’/’LEARNED’/’Scholar’/Hujur’/’Mollah’ types of Muslims as another category. Every Muslim supposed to be a Muttaqi (pious, fearful of Allah)

And how you become fearful of Allah?

Only by acquiring knowledge which automatically makes you a learned Muslim. and once you acquire the knowledge you become a  ‘SHIEKH’/’LEARNED’/’Scholar’/Hujur’/’Mollah’

Where that puts those ‘regular’ Muslim?

Simply put, they are not doing Islam.

And this goes with what Allah said in the Quran 2:208, either you follow Islam completely or you are following shaitan.

Then how come there are Scholars who say, “You don’t need to be a scholar”?

Simply put, these are the scholars of misguidance who talk against what Allah and His Rasul have ordered us,

these are the scholars who preach misguidance, discourage Muslims to study Deen and put the blockade in Muslim’s minds that “You cannot understand Quran by yourself”

these are the scholars who want people to remain ignorant so that their ‘scholarly business’ could go undisturbed and people could BLINDLY follow them.

these are the scholars who are the causes of the destruction of the Ummah for keeping then ignorant of the Deen of Islam.

these are the scholars  who were warned of “calling from the gate of Jahannam”

May Allah guide them.

PART 2: Let the people cease to boast about their ancestors. They are merely fuel in Jahannam;

How many parts here?

There are two parts here. One is prohibition and one is consequences.

What does prohibition mean?

Haram. So, boasting, showing pride in one’s ancestry is Haram is Islam.

Do we find a specific type of people those will be the FUEL of fire?

Yes, these are one types of people as per this Hadith.

Now let’s do the critical reasoning of the MOST IMPORTANT but SCARY part.

Which are the people that this Hadith talks about or warn about? Muslims or Kafirs?

Muslims

How can you be sure about that?

Because the Hadith started with the saying to Muslims that “Allah Ajja wa Jalla has removed YOU from the PRIDE of JAHILIYYA”.

Excellent! Who did he remove from Jahiliyya?

Those who accepted Islam! Muslims! Plain and simple!

Therefore, if you go back to the acts of Jahiliyya (darkness, ignorance) after you were guided to  Islam (the light and guidance) then you will be made FUEL of the Fire (Jahannam) which was actually prepared for Kuffars! (Quran 2:24)

May Allah save us from being one of those, May Allah save us from Jahannam. Ameen.

PART 3: or they will certainly be of less account with Allah than the beetle which rolls dung with its nose.

No. It’s self-explanatory. These people are the worst than the INSECTS that lives on FILTH.
