“And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [in worship] after that, while you were wrongdoers.”
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
আর অবশ্যই মূসা তোমাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসমূহ নিয়ে এসেছে। অতঃপর তোমরা তার পরে বাছুরকে (উপাস্যরূপে) গ্রহণ করলে। আর তোমরা তো যালিম।
Critical Reasoning:
Who Allah said are Zalimun?
Those who took the CALF (as a thing to worship, which we know from the story)
Therefore, it is evident that the Zalimun are those who WORSHIP other ILAHA, who take something else as ILAHA BESIDES Allah.
Point to ponder is that they were not DISBELIEVERS in Allah. They Believed in Allah. They believed in the Messengership of Musa alaihi wa salam.
SubhanAllah, this is a human being. How many signs did they witness before their eyes?
SubhanAllah, YET they took something else besides Allah Subhanahu
SubhanAllah, YET while the messenger himself was PRESENT among them!
